Milton Soong,

CEO & Chief Finance Office of Chefs4Farmers

Milton Soong is Site Director Engineering for Indeed San Francisco Bay Area, California. Indeed is the world's No.1 Job Site, with over 250 million unique visitors every month.

 Before joining Indeed in 2017, Soong was Vice President of Engineering at SightMachine, world's leading Artificial Intelligence platform for the manufacturing sector based in San Francisco California, Founder & CEO at Zabu Studio based in Los Altos California, and Development Director at Electronic Arts based in Redwoodshore California. Soong has extensive experience in the software industry, storage architecture, operating systems, application server, Online consumer internet, online digital content protection, online gaming, and data platform. Soong started his career at Memorex, a computer storage provider based in Santa Clara, California, USA.  His current passion is helping companies scale in culture, people, process, and technology.

Soong received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and computer science from UC Berkeley.  

Soong also serves as CEO & Chief Finance Officer of Chefs4Farmers and provides advisory service in software industries.

Robert Driscoll,

Chief Marketing Officer of Chefs4Farmers

Robert Driscoll, J.D., Ph.D., is President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of Deltagen, Inc., a California biotechnology company focused on murine-based functional genomics. Before being named CEO in 2005, Driscoll served as the company's Vice President and General Counsel and guided Deltagen through a successful reorganization.

Before joining Deltagen in 1999, Driscoll was a patent and intellectual property attorney with the law firm of Pillsbury Madison & Sutro LLP in the firm's San Diego office. Driscoll started his career at Lyon & Lyon LLP, an intellectual property firm based in Los Angeles.

Driscoll received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology and his J.D. from Loyola Law School.

Driscoll also serves as Chief Marketing Officer and provides advisory services in the food and wine industries.

Richie Lin,

Chief Marketing Office of Chefs4Farmers Asia

Hong Kong-born Chef Richie Lin starts his career in Australia, where he met Chef Kai Ward at restaurant Quay by Peter Gilmore.

Following Quay, Richie headed north to Copenhagen and met chef Long Xiong at NOMA.  In 2014, Richie brought both chefs Kai and Long onboard. Richie introduced them to the abundant and untapped local resources of Taiwan.  They founded MUME and applied modern European techniques to create MUME's casual fine dining.  Since 2018, Richie has taken on the responsibility of MUME after both Kai and Long took on other projects.

Richie is committed to supporting the local food supply chain.  Richie works with sustainable small local farmers, fishers, and food producers to develop the unique taste of Taiwan. MUME's tasting menu represents Richie's passion.  It continually evolves to reflect on Taiwanese highest quality produces, transformed through the innovative cooking techniques from the small yet passionate kitchen.

In 2019, MUME was awarded the BEST Restaurant in Taiwan and ranked number 7 by prestigious Asia's 50 Best Restaurant Award.

Ben Jai,

Chief Technology Office of Chefs4Farmers

Ben Jai, Ph.D., is the Founder & CEO of Hope Bay Technologies, Inc., a Taiwanese company focused on cloud and mobile technologies. Dr. Jai is also a Chair Professor in Feng-Chia University, Taichung, Taiwan.

Prior to founding Hope Bay Technologies in 2013, Jai was a Senior Director at Delta Electronics, Platforms Architect at Google, and Research Scientist at Bell Labs. Dr. Jai is a visionary leader in many computer-related technologies. He became famous outside the IT circle when he spoke up for the freedom of speech on the academic Internet for the students during the 2014 student movement in Taiwan. He is considered an influential figure and a thought leader in Taiwan, both in the IT industry and socially, by many journalists.

Jai received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from New York University.

Jai also serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Chefs4Farmers, and as a technology and policy advisor to many government entities in Taiwan, and teaches in many universities.

Linda Liu

Chairperson

Linda Liu, is Chairperson of Chefs4Farmers, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation for charitable purposes, which encompass generally to support farmers by creating demand for agricultural products by creating seasonal recipes through the aid of renowned chefs and restaurants, both by facilitating activities by other charitable organizations and by working to directly provide services.

Before joining Chefs4Farmers in 2019, Liu was Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales of Intel based in Santa Clara California, Senior Director of Operation, Altera based in San Jose California, and Deputy Director of Account Management, TSMC-North America based in San Jose California. Liu is a result-oriented leader with over 15 years of experience championing business development with expertise in international business development, cross-functional team leadership, and competitive market positioning, delivering healthy outcomes with sustainable results through strategic partnerships. Liu started her career at Exel, a semiconductor memory manufacturing company based in San Jose.

Liu received her MSEE in Electronics Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
